Soft Rock Capital is a proprietary trading firm. We research, build, and operate automated strategies that trade the firm's own money — and nobody else's.
The firm
We are a small team of engineers and researchers. Everything we trade, we trade with our own capital: we do not manage outside money, and we do not offer investment products or advice.
What we build is the whole stack — the research that finds an edge, the models that price it, and the infrastructure that acts on it in real time. Modern machine learning sits at the center of that work, from signal discovery to execution.
How we work
Research first
Every strategy starts as a hypothesis and is measured before it is trusted. If an edge can't be shown in the data, it doesn't trade.
Built to operate
Low-latency, fault-tolerant systems that run unattended. Supervision, replay, and recording are part of the design, not an afterthought.
Risk as a constraint
Exposure limits are enforced in code, at every layer. Capital preservation is the first objective; returns follow from it.
Careers
We hire people who like hard problems and ship real systems: quantitative researchers, machine learning engineers, and low-latency systems engineers.
